POW/MIA service at the Welk Resort Branson
Vietnam Memorial Wall

Guest Speaker:

Dave Arzani
US Navy, TM1(SS/DV) - 1970 thru 1978

David's grandfather was a ship’s captain when his vessel was requisitioned by the British Navy in WWII, before it was chartered by US forces to fight the war. Captain Histed had a brilliant war record – with his ship surviving numerous Japanese bombings and a kamikaze attempt.  But that wasn’t the end of this family's story.

Hear the "rest of the story," as he heard it from his mother, at 17 years old, just before he left for the Navy during Vietnam.
