On October 25, 1977, the Central Identification Lab-Hawaii (CILHI,
now DPAA) identified the remains of Captain Donald E. Clark Jr.,
missing from the Vietnam War.
Captain Clark entered the U.S. Air Force from Maryland and was a
member of the 614th Tactical Fighter Squadron. On March 23,
1966, he was the pilot of an F-100F Super Sabre (serial number
58-1212) on a combat mission over North Vietnam, when his
aircraft crashed and he was killed. In 1977, the Vietnamese
government repatriated remains to the United States which were
identified as those of Captain Clark.
Captain Clark is memorialized on Courts of the Missing at the
National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
