Testimony of CIA assassin recruited from Navy SEALs goes online with documentsAlleged CIA assassination authorization. See slideshow for more images On July 13, the New York Times ran a story about the CIA running an assassination squad using U.S military special forces against foreign terrorists without Congressional approval on the orders of former Vice President Dick Cheney. The Times story confirms claims by Seymour Hersh in March 2009 that an assassination squad had been created that reported directly to Cheney using special forces personnel. The covert CIA project was shut down by CIA Director Leon Panetta when he learned of it on June 23. Details of the project were passed on the next day to the U.S. Congress and led to furor over the reports. A statement by seven members of the House Intelligence Committee concerning the CIA misleading Congress was subsequently released. The covert CIA program allegedly began in 2001 soon after the 911 attacks. The unfolding revelations of CIA death squads using U.S. military special forces personnel coincides with the online release of video testimony of a former U.S. Navy SEAL who said he was recruited to perform 18 assassination assignments for the CIA. If true, the SEAL’s testimony reveals that covert assassinations predate the 911 attacks, and also targeted U.S. citizens. Curiously, the assassinations were related to covert projects Dick Cheney was allegedly involved in when he was Secretary of Defense for George H.W. Bush from 1989 to 1993. Connor O’Ryan was a pseudonym used by Derek Hennessy who claims in video testimony recorded in 1991, that he performed covert missions for the CIA in the 1980s assassinating enemies of the United States. After joining the U.S. Navy in the early 1980s, O’Ryan/Hennessy claims he joined the elite SEALs and was eventually tasked to perform his covert assassination missions. He said that targets of the assassination hits even included U.S. citizens. He described his 18th and final mission as a sergeant for the U.S. Army Green Berets stationed at the U.S. Embassy in Budapest, Hungary..... [above link has the rest of the fairy tale.] |

Dear
POW Network, I
have been asked to verify/deny the military credentials of Mr. DEREK
HENNESSY aka CONNOR O’RYAN to determine if the man was a
bona fide US Navy SEAL. Mr. DEREK
HENNESSY aka CONNOR O’RYAN has reportedly made claims of
being a US Marine who claims to have been a SEAL, and an assassin for
the CIA. These claims have been published in a news article online: Before
answering your questions I must make clear that I am a private
individual; I am not affiliated with the US Dept. of Defense or any
other government organization. My efforts to expose SEAL imposters are
performed as a service to the public, and in honor of my SEAL Teammates
who gave their lives in service to our nation… men who truly earned
the right to the title “US NAVY SEAL” but who are no longer able to
stand forward in defense of their honor, their reputations, and their
TEAMs. I
do NOT find a listing in
the SEAL Database (end of WWII to the Present Day) for anyone named DEREK
HENNESSY aka CONNOR O’RYAN.
I have also examined possible alternate spellings, and names with
similar pronunciations without finding any that appear to be applicable.
Unless
he has undertaken the unlikely action of a legal name change (an action
for which there would be evidence in the form of court documentation)
since his claimed attendance at BUD/S training, and based upon the
information I was provided, I can
state conclusively that DEREK
HENNESSY aka CONNOR O’RYAN
has NEVER COMPLETED
SEAL training, and he is not now, nor was he ever a Navy SEAL or a Navy
UDT “Frogman”. Also
in that online article there is a link to an audio interview with Mr.
WENDELLE STEVENS. In that audio interview Mr. STEVENS claims to have
discovered and reported on CIA “Death Squads” involving
assassination assignments which were purported to have been carried out
by Mr. DEREK
HENNESSY while
using the alias CONNOR O’RYAN.
In that interview Mr. STEVENS makes the following statement in reference
to Mr. DEREK HENNESSY who
claims to have been a Marine and a member of the Navy’s SEAL Teams. "...[he
stayed] in the Marines and kept trading up to a SEAL and then a BLACK
SEAL status - which is the highest trained level that A MARINE can
reach!" The
only men who can legitimately call themselves SEALs are US Navy sailors
who have completed the entire SEAL training program which lasts
approximately 2 years and who have received a formal/official
designation as “Combatant Swimmer [SEAL]” with an attendant entry in
their military records of a specific Naval Enlisted Classification Code
(NEC). They carry the skill rating of “SO” – Special Warfare
Operator. A special directive recently issued by the Department of
Defense has permitted a scant few US Coast Guard personnel to apply for
SEAL Training. None of those USCG personnel have graduated from SEAL
Training as of this time (JULY 2009). Prior to this point in time there
have never been any SEALs who were not US Navy personnel. At
this writing there are no SEALs in any other branch of the US military
armed forces. Additionally, there is no such classification or
designation as a “BLACK SEAL”. When
members of the Naval Special Warfare community meet others who claim
similar service, but whom they do not recognize, there is a
conversational exchange of information that establishes the bona fides
of each to the other. There is no set formula for this exchange, nor for
the information that is exchanged, but it ALWAYS takes place, and the
REAL Naval Special Warfare members can ALWAYS spot a phony as a result
of this exchange. Mr. STEVENS has apparently failed to ask Mr. DEREK
HENNESSY aka CONNOR O’RYAN
the most basic of questions which would serve to positively verify his
claims of SEAL service: (1)
Since there is no listing in the SEAL Database for the name you are
currently using (DEREK HENNESSEY aka
CONNOR O’RYAN), WHAT
NAME DID YOU USE during SEAL training? (2)
What was your BUD/S Class Number?
(NB: No SEAL ever forgets the class number he shouted all day long,
every day, for 6 months) (3)
Where did your training
take place? (4)
When did your graduate
from Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) training? (i.e. a specific
graduation DATE) (5)
When did you enter the US
Navy - a specific month and year? (since only US Navy SAILORS can be
SEALs) (6)
When did you leave the US
Navy (a specific month and year) (7)
What was your rank
at the time he left military service (including your Naval Enlisted
Classification code –NEC– or your Naval Officer Billet Code – NOBC) The
answers to those questions are totally UNCLASSIFIED, and every real SEAL
will gladly provide that substantiating information upon request. No
one gets to the SEAL Teams without first completing BUD/S Training.
There are records of every man who has qualified for the title of
“SEAL”; there have been and will continue to be secret missions, but
there are NO secret SEALs… we know them all. Mr.
STEVENS has either failed completely to seek formal/official US NAVY
confirmation of Mr. HENNESSEY aka
O’RYAN’s claimed US Marine-cum-SEAL credentials, or has
intentionally avoided doing so. Had he taken the time to contact the
Public Affairs Office at the NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE COMMAND in Coronado,
California, he would have learned that those claims were patently FALSE
and that the other elements of the man’s story about being a US Marine
but being trained and tasked with the “SEALs” and about being given
a designation as a “BLACK SEAL” were also entirely fictitious. It
appears that Mr. STEVENS is using Mr. HENNESSEY
aka O’RYAN’s false claims of MARINE-cum-SEAL-cum-CIA
ASSASSIN status to pursue a political agenda in the press which is
directed at discrediting members of the former Bush/Cheney
administration. While I cannot presume to make any definitive statements
with regard to his several claims regarding “CIA Death Squads” and
members of the Bush/Cheney administration, I can make an informed
statement regarding the apparent KEY ELEMENT of this matter; I can state
conclusively that Mr. HENNESSEY aka
O’RYAN is not now and never was a US Navy SEAL. Respectfully, Steve

In
an AUDIO interview by
Wendelle Stevens who was talking about Hennessy, Mr. Stevens made
the following statement: "...staying
in the Marines and kept trading up to a SEAL and then a BLACK SEAL
status - which is the highest trained level that A MARINE can
reach!" Since only US Navy SAILORS can be SEALs, and there are no USMC personnel in the SEAL Teams, and there is no such thing as a “BLACK SEAL”, then this is the worst possible sort of BS. If Stevens truly accepts this stuff as “the truth” without verification/proof, then he’s totally worthless as a reporter. If he knows that it’s not true and he still broadcasts it, then he’s intentionally misleading others ..... |
| “Former Marine Becomes Navy SEAL Then Acts as Death Squad Assassin For CIA”. Every SEAL imposter in the country will be trying desperately to find a way to work his own BS story so that it fits this particular scenario. |
