I TJ hamelin have read and have been aware of the posting concerning me on POW network. and will start by saying I repect today and everyday ALL who serve this country while also respecting the colors we represent in the RED WHITE AND BLUE. By saying we I also include police officers fire fighters government and all Americans who work in the areas that service and answer the call of duty to help the private citizens of our nation. I will also address that while some of the posting under my name is true some is also incomplete or false. first lets look at the easy things. working a hot dog stand briefly and ownig a hot dog stand briefly is much diffrent then being the proprietor of a full familt sit down restaurant (which I was in Illinois) called the sky box family restaurant. during this time I owned a smallbreakfast and lunch cafe also while operating conncession stands during baseball and softball seasons.And I have no shame in that it was hard honest work and as a single father made it possible to work alongside my children. also if anyone is aware of how the internet works and vengence then they would know its very easy for a disfunctional family issue or personal issue with some one in life to mix well together and cause problems. On that note if you were the one running or who set up my facebook acct. you would know the email its actually under isnt even my email or a verified address. yet to close a facebook acct takes 90 days of not using it. and I have tried closing it many times as I think like my space face book is a waste of time and a big problem in society. Also I acted in many many theatre productions over the years and extensivley in radio and have never done a one line play so that slso is a false statement. if you look at WHAT IS AVALIBLE of my military record it shows i was a reservist when in fact I was a full time active duty member. also I didnt go from boot to med hold. i did my full boot co. 140 and then did my schooling and then my first duty was on the uss hepburn FF1055 IT WAS ORIGINALLY DD1055 NOW RETIRED FROM SERVICE. during my trainig I took and passed my test for buds training. all was going well with my sevice and after an injury and severly botched and deforming suegery was shipped throughout from Greatlakes to Andrews Airforce Base to Bethesda Naval Hosp. where I was actually lost in the system and not receiveing pay to the extent my pastor sent a donation from my church back home so I could survive. the Navy ended up sending me to NIH (NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF HEALTH) over growing concerns of the severity of my injury and mistakes made during surgery. long story short I was put in a room full of brass trying to figure out what to do with me while then senetor John G. Rowland got involved as well as another whos name escapes me at this time. I did grant permmision to the Navy to use my surgery photos and my case in a jounal. The judgement for out come was I was going to serve my commitment as a fulltime reservist working with those in the swimmer course working out of the reserve station at great lakes while also going over to RTC/ Mainside to work at times. what ended up was somewher my father (who I dont hate but was never close with ) as he just never took intrest in whatever I did and still today dosnt even after my mothers passing. I dont deal with my family or havnt other then my mother since I left home in 84. But some how he got involved with senetor Rowland and literally before I even knew what happened I was given a full dicharge while keeping reserve staus thru 1989. before that time I did powerlifting with the NAVY literally spending my last months training and competing. I do have I think still some pics and I know a medal from one of the meets. as for my uniforms I have none left and never had any seal or speacial warefare emblems/ ribbons anywhere on them I was a BM2 WHEN I WAS DISCHARGED. and am working with the ct VA and washington and MO to try and figure what happened to my record and why all they can produce is a partially hand torn front page of my DD214? its been a long battle and will continue Im told and even shown I am owed miney for schooling from the Navy. If you look you will find my record very incomplete. I love this country and always will but I like many also know when something goes wrong or needs to be covered up thing do "disapear" as for the pics posted if he who posted them realized what he was looking at and reading he would have noticed the pic is from a video game called black ops and my son who makes amateure films saw the pic and just remarked how it looked like his pops (me) from when i used to shave my head and i dressed up fro a short film he did in high school and we like many friends and or family members do have our saying or jikes between us. But I have never in piblic worn the S.E.A.L.s uniform or spoke on behalf of the seals or any speacial forces. but I do speak highly of all branches of the Military and yes would recommened anyone intresred join and serve in any copacity they see fit. Also I never claimed to be collecting any form of disability from the military though I am now 100% disable from being crushed on the back of my truck back in06 while loading it crushing my sine from top to bottom and now needing personal care almost round the clock even for basic things such as putting on shoes eating using the bathroom shaving bathing walking or being pushed if in the wheel chair. but the state does give me ffod stamps and pays for my meds. I have worked everyday of my life since the paper route at 11yrs old and never took a sick day only vacation days. IT'S alaway been said if you dont know the whole story find it out thats how romors get started. as for my passion towards the seals i have no bitterness I couldnt have a careere at it things happen in life for reasons we dont always know. but a good friend of mine in July of 85 was beatin killed and thrown to the tarmac on a hijacked plane he was from wilby high school in waterburry CT I meet him while I attened Kennedy high school in waterburry befor i moved to watertown high school. Dear Madame and or SIRS,

    I have written a request once before and again I would like to clarify a few things fisrt off if you look and can find the many many pages of my military record that is "AWOL" please let me and the VA know as even washington has questions but no answers as to why there is a big gap in my record with pretty much my whole gray file missing and my DD214 only partial and hand ripped from the file at that. there is no question I did SERVE AND I DID ATTENED SCHOOLING after boot camp. though I was eventually med discharged with a apermanant partial disability. I have never claimed to or actually collected ANYTHING  from the GOVERNMENT or ANY MILITARY CONNECTED group or agency non for profit or other wise. what is shown as MY RECORD OF SERVICE is very incomplete and thanks to the help of a state senetor John G. Rowland ALOT TOOK PLACE behind closed doors without my knowledge and when I was told what to do and where to sign  as a young sailor sitting with brass telling me this is how it would be done i only assumed it was on the level. I have been for many many years trying to retrieve my records both of service and medical. also if you notice the pics posted of me one is with my son while we are having fun and the other is an actual promo shot pic for a black ops video game that if ALL THAT WAS WITH THE PICTURES CAPTION WAS POSTED ON YOUR PAGE WOULD SHOW A CONVERSATION ABOUT THE PICTURE AND AN INNOCENT MENTION OF MY LIKNESS FROM MY SON AND SOME WHO KNOW ME (like happens many times with people we know) and my son just happened to find the pic and send it talking of the old days and remember when he first found that pic his reaction was pops cause at the time i shaved my head and he said it looked like me. The pic has been around a few years my son who is an amerature film maker hoping one day to make it as a film maker did make a military style sin city type of movie on a home camera back in highschool it never got finished but I as well as others was in it and my part called for me to be in fatigues or leather depending on the scene. I never mentioned once that was a pic of me in my uniform while being a seal nor did I or have I ever wore a navy SEALs uniform or emblem or that of any other military and I never attened or spoke on behalf of the military on any level at any event. though I do support our troops where ever they serve as I respect the men and woman who wear the badge or done the fire suit to protect our citys. if you had the actual full postings other then just a phrase here or there you would find this was a conversation between muliple people over a time frame that started back sometime last year. also my about me section if you notice i mention I am a member of...... after I talk of seal team one of which I have a fondness for because of its original history just as now the world is finding out how special SEAL TEAM SIX is and in my opinion put together by one of the greatest military minds and no doubt the NAVYS greatest SEAL in Mr. Marchincko. who along with ALL SEALS AND ANY TO COME IN THE FUTURE AS WELL AS ANY MILITARY PERSONEL. I ADMITT TO GOING TO FAR AND TAKE FULL RESPONSABILITY OF MY WORDS AND ACTIONS AND SHOULD HAVE JUST SAID NOTHING. BUT WHAT WAS SAID IS DONE AND I CAN'T TURN BACK TIME. ...... BUT I CAN ASSURE YOU I NEVER EVER AS STATED WORE OR REPRESTENTED MYSELF IN PUBLIC FORUM OR EVENT ANY UNIFORM OR SPEECH ESPECIALLY THAT OF THE SEALS AND IF NOT FOR MY MISFORTUNE THAT LED TO MY SURGERY AND MED DISCHARGED WOULD HAVE LIKED THE HONOR TO HAVE TRIED AND HOPFULLY SUCCEDED TO THE FULLEST THE ACHIEVMENT OF THE NAVY SEAL AND T RULY GET TO ACTUALLY WEAR AND REPRESENT THE TRIDENT (WHICH I HAVE NEVER HAD AT ANY TIME IN MY POSSESION) AND ALL THE S.E.A.L.s STAND FOR AS I FEEL DISGRACED I DO FULLY APOLOGIES AND AM SORRY FOR KNOWING WHAT I FEEL ONLY PALES TO WHAT AN ACTUAL SEAL TEAM MEMBER MUST FEEL AND MYSELF KNOWING ENOUGH SEALS LEGIT ONES DATING BACK TO VIETNAM, NOW KNOW MY SHAME BY ITSELF (EVEN THOUGH I HAVE NEVER REPRESENTED MYSELF AS A SEAL TO MY FAMILY OR FRIENDS OR AT ANY TIME IN MY LIFE DID ANY BRAGGING OR CLAIM OF MISSSIONS) LETS ME KNOW IN MY HEART I AM MISSING THE BIGGEST QUALITY IT TAKES TO BE A SEAL. TRUST AND HONOR WHICH OBVIOUSLY I STILL HAVE TO LEARN SOMETHING ABOUT. Iwas a boats and E-5 theres no reason for me to lie about that but my career and case is messed up and was a weird and strange process of finger pointing and some cover up and re written of what really happened. Though as for myself was not ever in doubt or question and always wore my uniform right and tight and I did serve proudly. AGAIN I AM SORRY AND HOPE THAT I CAN BE FORGIVEN IF NOT NOW THEN AT SOME POINT AFTER LOOKING FURTHER INTO POWNET I FEEL EVEN WORSE AND WONDER MYSELF HOW MANY TIMES I MAY HAVE BEEN LIED TO BUT I ALSO LEARNED THE SMALLEST TALE TO THE FULLEST OF LIVING THE LIFE IN FULL GEAR WHILE NEVER SEARVING AT ALL IS THE SAME SHAME AND FEELS LOUSY IN THE PIT OF MY STOMACH. THIS IS A GOOD THING YOU HAVE AS IT BRINGS ATTENTION TO MATTERS THAT MANY MAY NOT THINK ABOUT AND POWNET IS A POWERFUL LEARNING TOOL AT THE SAME TIME.
