MANUEL MARTINEZ "Manny" |
![]() |
"Yes, that is most definitely him, and that picture
was taken on Tuzla Eagle Base, in northern Bosnia.
It would be great to be notified one day that his
fraud was revealed at drill weekend at the national
guard armory in front of everyone, because he had
everyone, and I mean everyone fooled into believing
that he was something that he wasn't. Including the
Navy EOD's that were assigned to the base."
|
| While
deployed with his National Guard Unit in Reports
state he was telling everyone that ‘the Navy was furious that he’d
told anyone he was a SEAL’ and that his public ‘confession’ was made
at the demands of the Navy to maintain secrecy about his past SEAL duties
and activities. When he returned to CONUS he was one of numerous
individuals in the reserve unit given commendations for exemplary service,
and we were informed that he regularly told everyone “I was never a
SEAL”… and then winking and offering the follow-on statement “at
least that’s what I’ve been told to say…” |

."... am writing to you and your crew to let you know the results of Manny Martinez's military punishment. ... and he has lied to me the entire time that I have known him. Anyway, he was made to take his Sergeant stripes off, but he was still being paid by the army as an E-5, which is sergeant. He has let it be known that he will officially have his rank back in January and that he even has the support of some of our officers. The end all was that at an awards formation in Bosnia where various individuals of the unit were recognized, this xxxxxxxxx received an army commendation medal for honorably doing an excellent job, thereby making every other man's award worthless.
.... the bottom line is that this guy was never punished and that he
even received an award. He also told said you and your guys are the real
frauds and I think that maybe he really believes that he was a
SEAL."

| 01/2003 ... received word Mannie is STILL sporting the Trident on his BDUs back home in Atlanta and STILL claiming he is really a SEAL, but claiming that it’s “classified” so that’s why he had to take it off while in Bosnia... |

| 10/2006 "I wish someone in federal law enforcement would go after this clown. Altered DD214, photographic evidence of him wearing an unauthorized patch, etc… but the CO of the GANG unit was more interested in not having any incidents on the ‘otherwise spotless record’ of his outfit; he was very concerned with what it would do to his career as an officer." |
