Aprox a year ago I ran into Mr. Godbee at a function in Germantown, MD. He introduced himself as "Lucky".

Another person said that Lucky had served as a Marine in Vietnam.

 

I asked about it. Lucky said he was recon and was a squad leader and was pulled directly from the jungle to rotate back stateside. Once he was in Camp Lejune, he struck an officer for screwing with his men (this is when my B.S. detector went off!)

He then said he was court martialed and sent to the brig in GTMO! where he was imprisoned with a SEAL and that the guards knew not to screw with them because they were trained killers.

 I asked him where the brig was, he couldn't tell me, and why would they send him to GTMO when there were plenty of facilities stateside. Again he couldn't answer.

He then went on to say how he was a retired DC cop and worked security for promise keepers. Didnt want to call bullshit  ..... .
