There is no such squadron as VMHL-367. The correct squadron would be HML-367. Also, to the best of my knowledge the Marine Corps had no aircraft stationed at Tan Son Nhut, nor did we have any helicopter pilots that were Warrant Officers. ..... http://www.popasmoke.com/order_of_battle.html John "J.D." I am William Hieatt. I have just been
notified that an individual is Telling you, that I have made certain
claims about my military service.
-- I was a POW
I have numerous letters to
prove that I never made that claim
-- I was never over seas.
I served in Japan for 17 months
and a few days.
-- I was a CIA operative.
I would not have drove a truck for 25
years for 25,000$ a year when the feds pay twice that.
One more thing, if you can find out what
days I was in Hospital in Japan to have my face fixed I would like
to know. It is not on my DD214 as well as my time in Japan is not
there either
It seems this individual is
attempting to stop some one, me from taking an active part in bringing
this missing home!

I believe that in sending this to Artie and Patty will suffice at this time. I would think you will investigate enough, NOT to admit me into your web site as a wanna -be period. I have told you what claims I have made, the rest he has made. |

Sad. We wanted the copy of the same DD214 you promised
Artie and didn't deliver either....
|

Artie has been mailed this
document.
As I have not worn any vest since
June 10th 2002 and will never wear another with any patches on it.
What is your problem.
Danny Belcher gave me that patch and
told me in Lexington, Ky that Vietnam era was allowed to wear it. So
take it up with him! I wore it proudly and with all that has happened
in the last five days makes me wish I had never seen any of this and
that the countless hours I spent and over 40,000$ have now been
wasted. As far as sending you anything I did not promise to send
you nothing.
I want this issue to be considered
DEAD. I will not tolerate any more of this. The attorney has been sent
every email and all documents concerning this issue. I want to
hear nothing more about it period.

| Prelim military history search shows NOT a helicopter pilot.
Per VHPA historian: We show an E4 HIEATT, WILLIAM B. who entered the USMC 17 February
1969 and got out 16 February 1973 and served with an MOS of 7051 which
was Aircraft Firefighting and Rescue Specialist. It does not
appear that he served in Vietnam, but that is not certain and so far as
we know, he did not fly helicopters as a pilot. |
| Records have been requested from St. Louis. The DD214 was received by Artie. ... the DD214 shows NONE of the verbal claims made to dozens of individuals and reported to the Network |
