Brooks and others of Sub Sea Research have more dramatic personal and
detailed accounts of their salvage exploits going to Haiti and a story of
kidnapping and murder. And a story of their diving boat sinking at the pier

Underwater
explorers who’ve examined the wreck say their research indicates that
it’s the Notre Dame de Deliverance — a 166-foot, armed merchant vessel
of French origin. The research includes surveys of the site by
state-of-the-art remote sensing devices, ROV’s and divers, a study of
historical records, and the discovery that a few silver items — including
a crucifix, plate and some coins — were brought up years ago by other
salvagers. recent underwater video footage is now being analyzed to
determine the best procedure for recovery.
Greg Brooks and John Hardy of the Sub Sea Research states “It was one of
the richest ships ever lost,” they estimate the value of the
Deliverance’s trove could be between $2 billion and $3 billion. The
Deliverance departed Havana on Halloween with an armed escort of seven or
eight smaller, schooner-like vessels according to Brooks’ research in Cuba
and elsewhere. The ship soon met a fate that Brooks now believes was
remarkably similar to what befell the Atocha and its hapless crew in

she was a nurse in Vietnam serving
in "what many would call a MASH
unit". Further she states she was a
nurse in the "Woman's Army Corp" not
the "Army Nurse Corp" or "Women's
Army Corp".

is 58 years old and graduated from
High School in 1971. Two years of
nursing school would put her out of
school less than 10 months before
the end of the war. Further
military.com has her highest rank as
E-3. The understanding is all nurses
were officers.
Ms. Milette appeared before the Ohio
Senate this week and provided
opponent testimony to S.B. 310. Her
testimony included that she suffers
from PTSD from service as a field
nurse in Vietnam. Further she states
she needs her "service animal" 'Motzie'
a cat certified by the V.A. for
treatment of her PTSD. She also
asserts this claim in a blog at

This woman has
received a lot of attention for
herself and her hybrid cat
soliciting donations as a disabled
vet. She has used documents
fraudulently from the V.A. as to her
cat's certification as a service
animal. This includes gaining access

at many venues. Further she has had
two USDA licenses revoked.
In April
she testified before the Ohio Senate
and made several misrepresentations
in regards to her Savannah cat being
a certified "service animal" under
the U.S. ADA laws. Ms. Milette has
also had problems with the USDA
revoking two of her licenses as well
as providing a sedative for IV
administration without a Rx,
veterinary over sight or pharmacy
license. Further she claims
certifications from the V.A. which
the V.A. does not bestow.

At the Ohio Senate hearing she stated she
lives in Plainville, Ohio in Cochocton County. The county
auditor shows no property owned by her or the woman she is
always seen with B.J. McDowell.
There is a Bxxxxxxxx J. McDowell in the
Municipal Court records using xxxxxxxxxxxxxx. The age and
physical description are also correct. Note they travel all
over the country showing their wild cats including a tiger.
Also seen is Texas listed with no city or address.

Interesting in this post she claims to have
been "air born" not airborne and was a member of 10Th
Special Forces. Interesting in that 10th Special Forces was
not in Vietnam. There is also the part on a
chopper medical rescue where she is the sole survivor.
She claims she was a nurse in Vietnam for 2
1/2 years. That would have put her there after the war.

I have a number of friends who are widows of Special Forces soldiers. I
have two sons who are SF sergeants who just left for
Iraq
and one has a wife and two daughters he loves very much. The other one
is very much in love. They and we understand that they could be killed
and leave us and their loved ones behind. I have helped several SF
widows from the GWOT with problems they have had to deal with, and just
lost my team-sergeant from my A-Team in 1969 while he and his wife were
with my wife and me in
Oklahoma City
, so please understand it is something very near and dear to my heart.
I looked at the website about Vern and also checked around thoroughly. I
know that you loved your husband very much and respect that, but I pray
that you two did not have children together, because it is unfair to
pass on a legacy of dishonor. In short, based on all I have read, your
husband was simply a good yarn-spinner who read some VN books to get
sketch information, but if he were alive today he could go to prison and
be heavily-fined for violations of the Stolen Valor Law enacted in
December, 2006. The website indicated he had a DSC, Silver Star, and
Purple Heart. It is grossly unfair to true heroes who gave their lives
in service to our country and legitimately earned valorous awards only
to have impostors go down as heroes when they were never there. He may
have been a SP4 or PFC in the
US
Army reserves and that is it, if he was even in anything. He did not
serve in
Vietnam
and that photo showed with an RT from
Vietnam
, does not show a photo of your husband. I am sorry, but that is a
Montagnard striker in the photo, not an Asian-American. Also, if you

it lists all recipients of the DSC and MOH, and you will see your
husband is not mentioned.
None of the dates or stories match up. One of the documents talked about
a guy who he said was one of his best friends. How could he be? The
document stated the man was KIA in 1962, but your own timeline shows
Vern in middle school then. Another thing is the story about the guy
suspended upside down, spread-eagled, penis in his mouth, and saying
“Just shoot me,” and that is straight from
Hollywood
, along with combining together several
Vietnam
urban legends at once. It never happened and never happened like that,
not once, only in the movies.
Your own reconstruction of his records does not allow for anywhere near
the time it takes to earn Jump Wings, Ranger Tab, let alone a
Green Beret. I earned one, and so did two of my sons, and it is unfair
to anyone who has earned a Green Beret when less than 3 out of every 100
who tries makes it, to claim one when even the timeline alone would make
it impossible.
You mentioned

on your site, and he is going to be very upset when he reads the BCC to

would have proudly become a member, and would have been welcomed with
open arms.
Ma’am, I have checked, and you have basically been trying to tell men
of honor who risked their own lives to serve this country such as Steve
Sherman that they are liars or covering something up. No, we will
not bend when a phony is trying to put something over even in death. It
is not fair to those who actually spilled their blood on the
battlefield, or those like my sons who are in harm’s way now, who are
willing to. It is not fair to you to live with a lie. I was in
Phoenix
which was Top Secret. Some were in MAC-V/SOG which was Top Secret. That
does not make a person’s records Top Secret. When you leave the
service you are issued a DD-214, and it does not matter what Top Secret
unit you might have served in, your DD-214 shows how many days, months,
and years you served overseas, what your actual medals earned were, what
schools you attended, your MOS or job title, etc. Nobody’s records are
hidden away in a vault or locked in a TS file somewhere. That is another
method phonies use to cover up the fact they were never in the service.
I do not care if you are Rambo, no matter who you are or what you did,
there is proof you served in the military.
Now , I am sorry to come across so hard and harsh, Ma’am, but I have
found out others have tried to help you, and you apparently have watched
way too many conspiracy theory movies, so you label those trying to help
you as the bad guys. So I guess now I get to be one of them, too. I
would prefer to think that you would simply love your husband for all
the nice things he did for you and the nice ways he treated you and
treasure those memories, because unfortunately the memories he gave you
of this colorful military career are made up. If you look into his
actual background, you will probably learn the scars he showed you were
from a car wreck or something when he was younger.
By the way, his bio mentioned Kajukempo. My first business partner in my
first karate school in the early seventies was Al Gene Carulia, a
Kajukempo pioneer from
Hawaii
, and I was good friends for years with the late-Ed Parker, father of
Kempo in the
US
, who was from the famous
Hawaii
Parker family.

Despite the consequences of being caught being someone you are
not, there are still people who give it a try; thankfully, many
of them end up failing anyway.
According to a news
report on WKRC Cincinnati, Charles Moeller, a 64-year-old
resident of Union township, used his vehicle to force another driver
off the road and then claiming to be a State Trooper. He apparently
approached the driver, brandishing some kind of unknown ID card; at
any rate, when the driver asked him for his badge and he was unable
to produce one, the driver fled. Moeller, however, implied that he
had a gun.
A judge in Union Township, Clermont County, set Moeller’s bond
at a whopping quarter of million dollars. According to the report,
prosecutors only asked for a $100,000 bond. The judge, however,
factored in the fact that he had implied having a gun and increased
the bond, despite requests by Moeller’s lawyer for a lower bond as
his client needed treatment for thyroid cancer.
This is apparently not the first time that Moeller assumed an
identity – nor is being a State Trooper his only make-believe gig.
When he initially moved into town, he reportedly introduced himself
as someone named Gary who was a former Navy
SEAL and had several career medals to his name.
One of his neighbors also talked about seeing him flash a Glock-style
gun and a badge, and hearing him say that “both came in handy”.
He reportedly claimed to neighbors that the gun was given to him by
his son, who was an agent with Homeland Security.
Moeller was arrested Wednesday afternoon.

I have two Mohrs and neither is a
Richard. If he wants to validate his claims, he should provide
documentation, or if that is not available because the third wife
burned all his papers, he can provide specifics about his assignments,
detachments, duties and fellow troopers in those detachments. Failing
an interest in making any response, few people in the SF community
would give him the benefit of the doubt.

that Edward Monarski, Syracuse, NY, died a few weeks age. He
appears to have been a fraud to the end, as it is my understanding
that he appeared at the Syracuse Veterans Hospital requesting
treatment, but died before getting any medical help. Never
served a day on active duty, National Guard member who was never
activated, and organized Central NY Chapter of the Korean War with
fraudulent DD214 claiming service as Marine in Korea during
that war.

interest in upholding the honor of the US Navy SEAL Teams, and
your search for the TRUTH. Before answering your questions I
must make clear that I am a private individual, not affiliated
with the US Dept. of Defense or any other government
organization. My efforts to expose SEAL imposters are performed
as a service to the public, and in honor of my fallen SEAL
Teammates… men who truly earned the right to the title “US NAVY
SEAL” but who are no longer able to stand forward in defense of
their honor, their reputations, and their TEAMs.
If the name you provided is
spelled correctly, I do NOT find a listing in the SEAL Database
(SEAL Teams and predecessor units from 1943 to the Present Day)
for anyone named JONATHON J. MONTECER, AKA J.J. MOHNS.
I have also examined possible alternate spellings, and names
with similar pronunciations without finding any that appear to
be applicable.
Unless he has undertaken
the unlikely action of a legal name change (an action for which
there would be evidence in the form of court documentation)
since his claimed participation in SEAL training, and based upon
the information you have provided, I can state conclusively
that JONATHON J. MONTECER has NEVER COMPLETED SEAL training, and
he is not now, nor was he ever a Navy SEAL, a Navy UDT
“Frogman”, a member of any Naval Combat Demolition Unit (NCDU),
or a member of the Naval Amphibious Scouts & Raiders (S&R).
Many SEAL imposters when
confronted with the information I have provided will resort to
claiming that their records are sealed, burned or their SEAL
Operations were Classified and that there are no official
records of them.
Before any classified
operations may be undertaken as a SEAL Operator, a man must
first successfully complete the Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL
(BUD/S) Training program and then the follow-on secondary
training program. The names of all those who successfully
graduate from that training program sequence are compiled in the
SEAL database. Later participation in classified operations has
"no impact" on whether or not a person is listed as a graduate
of the training program.
There are records of every
man who has qualified for the title of “SEAL”; there have been
and will continue to be secret missions, but there are NO secret
SEALs.
Once again I must stress
that although I am a US Navy veteran, and a former SEAL, I am a
civilian performing in an entirely unofficial role. I strongly
recommend that you obtain a formal/official US NAVY statement
regarding Mr. JONATHON J. MONTECER's claimed SEAL
credentials. To do so you may contact the PUBLIC AFFAIRS OFFICE

Lovefraud.com launched with the story of how James Montgomery
defrauded Donna Andersen. At the same time, the Coalition of Patriots
for Military Honor, an Australian organization that exposes military
imposters, debunked Montgomery's service claims on its website.
Montgomery was soon featured in a Sydney newspaper under the headline
"Meet Major Fraud." Montgomery admitted that he fabricated
military documents, but claimed it was part of a "secret government
project to demonstrate how easy it is to impersonate a war hero."
Due to his fraudulent past, Montgomery lost his university job.

such serious violation of the SFA constitution that it required
immediate expulsion. The proceedings were initiated, Montgomery was
given an opportunity to either appear at a formal hearing or voluntarily

resignation. He has been expelled from SFA Chapter LX and his name
struck from the roster. National has done the same and it will be

Distinguished Service Cross for his valiant efforts in

Moore, who has served three years in the U.S. Army and

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Kendra, please do your
research before writing about some clown poser
like this. Let me just throw out some obvious
shortcomings in this report:
- Making E-6(P) in three years is physically
impossible due to time in grade requirements
- His uniform may look nice, but he has no flash
behind his Airborne wings and the awards are not
properly placed
- With three years in the Army, when did he have
time to finish Special Forces selection, the
Q-Course and three separate combat tours?!?
This guy is a textbook poser and you need to
retract your story. The fact that he would even
let a story be released about himself should be
the first indicator he is not a true “quiet
professional”. Please retract this clown expose
and let this young soldier receive the
punishment that is bound to come his way.

I researched and could not find anything
about Cliff Moore being awarded the DSC except in this
newspaper. Usually, one can see this story on the Army Times or
the US Army Homepage.
I started getting suspicious when I read
that he made E7 in THREE years and that he completed THREE
deployments. Don’t know if those deployments are counted in his
time in the Air Force.
His FACEBOOK has him currently listed in
Fort Bragg, NC.
The story also states that he “could not
share the particulars of the incident because
it’s “classified”. That sounds a bit suspicious as well.
Previous addresses include Sheppard Air Force Base and
Andalusia, Alabama.
The
only Clifton Moore I found on AKO is an Army Specialist
who is or was with the HHC 525th BfSB out of
Fort Bragg.
I went
to the 525th BfSB’s FACEBOOK and could not
find one mention of Moore receiving a DSC.

sure that the recipients are not talking to the media

U.S.Army Special Operations Command at Ft. Bragg, released the
following statement on Friday:
“The U.S. Army Special Operations Command has no record of an
award of the DSC to any Soldier on August 1, 2011, and no
indication that Cliff Moore is actively serving within the
command, including at 3rd Special Forces Group as is portrayed
in the photo which appeared in [The Andalusia Star-News].”
The Star-News retracts its Aug. 13 story, and apologizes to its
community, subscribers, veterans and those now serving in the
military. The work of numerous retired members of the armed
forces who brought this misinformation to our attention and
assisted us in resolving the matter is greatly appreciated

False Vietnam claim proves costly

former head of the Boone County Republican Party will
have to volunteer hundreds of hours in a Veterans Affairs hospital
after he admitted in court Wednesday that he lied about his service in
Vietnam during a run for public office last year.
Ed Moore pleaded
guilty to a single count of fraud for altering his military discharge
record to falsely show the in-country record. In exchange, prosecutors
recommended the community service - 350 hours in the next year at a
veterans hospital or nursing home.

Craig has never come clean on this and continues to let people believe
this nonsense. I mean, it's even on his website (he seems to
count ROK Ranger for the actual). He even lied to in Kuwait,
claiming he had been promoted to SFC and that he had a Top Secret/SCI
clearance. In actuality, he had been out of the USAR for over a
year and his Secret, not Top Secret, clearance expired in 1996.
He claimed that the Chief of the USAR at the time, told him that
he didn't need to re-enlist (he had only accrued two good years for
retirement in the 4 years he was back on the books) and to keep
singing for the troops. He loves to embellish and tell tales.
He also told how he couldn't get MOS qualified to be a rigger in his
unit because he "had too much rank" to go--complete BS--I
know, I put people in schools ALL the time. Craig knew that once
he became MOS qualified he was deployable, and he couldn't deploy
while he was cutting country albums. I'm just tired of his lies.

in 'Central America' where he was wounded. He was with 2nd Recon when
assigned to the MEU.
[1st Force Recon Co began preparing for some training operations in
Central America and was based out of Soto Cano AB in Honduras. It
had part of the Army's 10th MTN Div, AF units, SEALS from E.Coast, but
NO USMC units from the E. Coast working with it.]
He also runs the MCHA, Marine Corps Historical Association where he
and some civilians claim to conduct 'Marine Corps' training.

Muller and his guys not only conduct these 'training' events, but
they charge for them, and they are involved in Vietnam themed airsoft
websiteforums giving all kinds of bogus information. He's tried telling
kids that Marine Recon in 'Nam never wore tigerstipes.

for treatment of his tumors caused from Agent Orange;
claims to have stab wound in leg inflicted by VC during a

I greatly appreciate your interest in
upholding the honor of the US Navy SEAL Teams, and your search for the
TRUTH. Before answering your questions I must make clear that I am a private
individual, not affiliated with the US Dept. of Defense or any other
government organization. My efforts to expose SEAL imposters are performed
as a service to the public, and in honor of my SEAL Teammates who gave their
lives in service to our nation… men who truly earned the right to the title
“US NAVY SEAL” but who are no longer able to stand forward in defense of
their honor, their reputations, and their TEAMs.
While the name “MICHAEL P. MURPHY” does,
indeed, appear in the SEAL Database (SEAL Teams and predecessor units
from1943 to the Present Day), the owner of that name is a highly honored US
Navy SEAL who was KILLED IN ACTION on 28 June 2005. He was posthumously
awarded the MEDAL OF HONOR for actions he took to save his men; actions
which ultimately resulted in his own death. That one man who was KILLED IN
ACTION is the only man in the entirety of the 17,300+ entries in the SEAL
Database for the name you provided – “MICHAEL P. MURPHY”. There are no other
entries for that name.
Unless he has undertaken the unlikely
action of a legal name change (an action for which there would be evidence
in the form of court documentation) since his claimed attendance at BUD/S
training, and based upon the information you have provided, I can state
conclusively that
the man you know as
MICHAEL P. MURPHY has NEVER
COMPLETED SEAL training, and he is not now, nor was he ever a Navy SEAL, a
Navy UDT “Frogman”, a member of any Naval Combat Demolition Unit (NCDU), or
a member of the Naval Amphibious Scouts & Raiders (S&R).
Before any classified operations may be
undertaken as a SEAL Operator, a man must first successfully complete the
BUD/S Training program and the follow-on secondary training program; the
names of all those who successfully graduate from that training program are
compiled in the SEAL database. Later participation in classified operations
has no impact on whether or not a person is listed as a graduate of the
training program. There are records of every man who has qualified for the
title of “SEAL”; there have been and will continue to be secret missions,
but there are NO secret SEALs.
I must confess that I am stunned that
someone would stoop so low as to attempt to take advantage of the fact that
his name was similar to that of a heroic Navy SEAL who was killed in action
and attempt to pass himself off as that man. Making false SEAL claims
without earning the credentials is insulting enough, but to attempt to take
advantage of a name which is similar to that of a respected fallen warrior
is nothing short of despicable.
Once again I must stress that although I
am a US Navy veteran, and a former SEAL, I am a civilian performing in an
entirely unofficial role. For formal/official US NAVY confirmation of my
findings regarding the man’s lack of SEAL credentials you may contact the
FOIA COORDINATOR at the NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE COMMAND in San Diego,
California, and submit a formal FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT inquiry in
writing.
