| jones, david lee | 07/2008 | Leesburg, FL | CLAIMS Special Forces, "The FIRST A-team." Claims he rescued POWs. Wears a bad copy of a green beret with an even worse oversized copy of a 5th group flash. Claims 100% VA disability. | NOT SF IN NAM. | ||
| jones, jeff | 09/2009 | Denton, TX |
Claim
to have been awarded the CMOH, but turned it down in honor of his 11
fallen comrades (fellow SEALS?) during Operation Desert Storm.
|
I
am not aware of ANY case in history where any person has successfully
refused or declined award of the MOH. Friends are cc:d who can check the
SEAL claim. Sincerely, Doug ==================== No
Navy SEALs were KIA in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. No SEALs
were offered or awarded the MOH during Desert Storm. It is my
understanding that there were NO MOH awards made to anyone in any branch
of the military for actions taking place during Desert Shield/Desert
Storm. If
you wish a formal/official statement to this effect you may contact the
US Naval Special Warfare Command, Public Affairs Office, in Coronado CA. If
I can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me
again. Respectfully, Steve
Robinson RM2(SEAL) |

AL | He claims to have
served as a Navy SEAL in the Vietnam era. MOAA member a retired US Navy LCDR and Navy SEAL. Claims 3 purple hearts and MIA in Vietnam for 4 days. He has in his possession a letter on CIA letterhead addressing him as Rear Admiral Jordan and giving him command of a secret CIA unit authorized to operate in the USA. He also claims to be a Vietnam era combat F-4 pilot. He also claims to be a professional engineer.
He was even recorded repeating the SEAL claim and it is posted on
youtube. See this video posted on youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlJSu8f5maI At about the 6:44
time mark Irby Jordan is on stage and says
“I’m a veteran; I’m a US Navy SEAL that fought in Vietnam. I helped
organize the ghost SEALS.”

ACTUAL
RECORDS
Please pass this supplemental information regarding Mr. IRBY FRANKLIN JORDAN.
24
Jul 1962 – 03 Feb 1964 – Total active duty service 1 year 6 months 10
days
24
Jul 1962 Enlisted
24
Jul 1962 Reported to Recruit Training Center for basic training
24
Oct 1962 Reported to VU-7 Utility Squadron SEVEN based at North Island Naval
Air Station
NAS
North Island is located at the north tip of Coronado Island. Coronado is
where SEALs train and work, and where Mr. JORDAN
might have encountered them.
13
Jun 1963 Received for Duty Under Instruction at Naval Air Technical Training
Center, Memphis TN (STUDENT) for training in the AA, AN, and AR skill
ratings.
All
are aviation-support related skills
03
Feb 1964 Discharged from Active Duty
No
reason is given in either the NPRC summary or personnel record entries which
that organization provided for Mr. JORDAN’s
discharge. Such a short term of active duty service is not normal. There do
not appear to be any record entries related to injury, illness, or medical
treatment which might have preceded his discharge. Without additional
information or documentation, it is inappropriate for me to offer any
speculation regarding the reason for his discharge other than to note that
it is not customary or normal USN procedure.
Respectfully, Steve Robinson RM2(SEAL) |

THE
HERALD-PALLADIUM
St. Joseph Michigan/ Feb. 25, 2010
By
ANDREW LERSTEN
H-P
South Haven Bureau
SOUTH HAVEN - Leonard Jordan of South Haven, 90, is a World War II veteran who earned many well-deserved combat medals fighting for his country.
But
his claim, reported in a Herald-Palladium feature, that he was part of the
famed black Tuskegee Airmen in the war cannot be backed up by his military
records, which the newspaper obtained.
The
Herald-Palladium was contacted by Ron Brewington of Los Angeles, an expert
on the Tuskegee Airmen, shortly after the article about Jordan was
published in November......

know that his mother passed away probably within the last 3-5 years and he
may have inherited some money. He opened up a realty office in Cedar
Falls, Ia next to Dan Deery Motors about that time as well.
Don't know if the business is still in existence.....

various offices in Veterans organizations.
