They
also did not assign new raw kid soldiers to the 187th at

A
key element to the POW story is that they did not have rice, they

Claims his new title as "Executive Chef for Chaps Personal Chef
Service"
I called this Felder Charbonnet guy and asked if he was a Navy
SEAL, he replied "Yes."
Noteworthy is that he claims BUD/S Class 287, SEAL Team SIX,
and a SEAL from 90-96. The noteworthy part is that BUD/S Class 287 began
Hell Week two days ago on March 6th, 2011... Felder is a crappy little
actor dude in New Orleans (like New Orleans hasn't had enough problems
already) who uses his SEAL claims to get acting jobs and as a consultant
for Special Ops films and shows.
He removed one resume post where he stated he was a Navy
Boatswain Mate "BM" and qualified as Helm and Lee Helmsman...
Its no wonder there are so many crappy movies about the Military
with guys like this Clown giving advice on Special Operations...

Sir,
I greatly appreciate your interest in upholding the honor of the US Navy SEAL Teams, and your search for the TRUTH. Before answering your questions I must make clear that I am a private individual, not affiliated with the US Dept. of Defense or any other government organization. My efforts to expose SEAL imposters are performed as a service to the public, and in honor of my fallen SEAL Teammates… men who truly earned the right to the title “US NAVY SEAL” but who are no longer able to stand forward in defense of their honor, their reputations, and their TEAMs.
If the name you provided is spelled correctly, I do NOT find a listing in the SEAL Database (SEAL Teams and predecessor units from 1943 to the Present Day) for anyone named FELDER CHARBONNET. I have also examined possible alternate spellings, and names with similar pronunciations without finding any that appear to be applicable.
Unless he has undertaken the unlikely action of a legal name change (an action for which there would be evidence in the form of court documentation) since his claimed participation in SEAL training, and based upon the information you have provided, I can state conclusively that FELDER CHARBONNET has NEVER COMPLETED SEAL training, and he is not now, nor was he ever a Navy SEAL, a Navy UDT “Frogman”, a member of any Naval Combat Demolition Unit (NCDU), or a member of the Naval Amphibious Scouts & Raiders (S&R).
Many SEAL imposters when confronted with the information I have provided will resort to claiming that their records are sealed, burned or their SEAL Operations were Classified and that there are no official records of them.
Before any classified operations may be undertaken as a SEAL Operator, a man must first successfully complete the Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) Training program and then the follow-on secondary training program. The names of all those who successfully graduate from that training program sequence are compiled in the SEAL database. Later participation in classified operations has "no impact" on whether or not a person is listed as a graduate of the training program.
There are records of every man who has qualified for the title of “SEAL”; there have been and will continue to be secret missions, but there are NO secret SEALs.
Once again I must stress that although I am a US Navy veteran, and a former SEAL, I am a civilian performing in an entirely unofficial role. I strongly recommend that you obtain a formal/official US NAVY statement regarding Mr. FELDER CHARBONNET claimed SEAL credentials. To do so you may contact the FOIA COORDINATOR at the NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE COMMAND in San Diego, California, and submit a formal FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT inquiry in writing addressed to:
Commander
Naval Special Warfare Command
FOIA Coordinator
2000 Trident Way
San Diego, CA 92155
Thank you again for your concern in this matter, and for your assistance in upholding the honor of the US Navy SEAL Teams. If I can be of any further assistance to you in this matter, please contact me at your convenience.
Respectfully, Don Shipley BUD/S 131, SEAL Team ONE, SEAL Team TWO.
The National Guard says it has no records for three war medals claimed by a former Cape Coral police officer who recently resigned when it was learned he faked his GED.
In a 2009 interview, Stephen Chase told The News-Press he had received two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star, among the nation’s highest combat decorations, during tours in Afghanistan and Iraq.
The National Guard, however, said no documentation exists for the three medals or of Chase being deployed to Iraq.
Under the Stolen Valor Act, passed in 2006, falsely claiming war medals is a federal misdemeanor. Falsely claiming a Purple Heart could result in up to a year in prison, while pretending to have a Bronze Star is punishable by up to six months.

[SHORT VERSION - ENTIRE STATEMENT AVAIL]
...
If the names you have provided are spelled correctly, I do NOT
find a listing in the SEAL Database (SEAL Teams and predecessor units
from1943 to the Present Day) for anyone named CHAD
E. SCHWICHTENBERG or JEROME
M. CHERRONE.
I have also examined possible alternate spellings, and names with
similar pronunciations without finding any that appear to be applicable
for either name you provided. ...
Unless
they have both undertaken the unlikely action of a legal name change
(actions for which there would be evidence in the form of court
documentation) since their claimed attendance at BUD/S training, and
based upon the information you have provided, I
can state conclusively that neither CHAD E. SCHWICHTENBERG nor
JEROME M. CHERRONE has EVER COMPLETED
SEAL training, and neither man is now, nor ever was a Navy SEAL, a Navy
UDT “Frogman”, a member of any Naval Combat Demolition Unit (NCDU),
or a member of the Naval Amphibious Scouts & Raiders (S&R).

As
you have already been informed by Mr. R.D. Russell of the Naval
Special Warfare Archives, the claims of being a Navy SEAL which were
offered to you and your fellow officers by Mr. BILLY
HUGH CHESSER JR. are absolutely without merit. Mr. CHESSER
is not now and never was a member of the Naval Special Warfare (NSW)
Teams (UDT or SEAL). The SEAL Database now being used and expanded
by the US Navy was originally created by Mr. R.D. Russell (a former
Navy SEAL), and there is no one who is a greater or more informed
expert on the matter.
As
neither the POW Network nor I, myself, are trained in any law
enforcement activities or hold any legal or law enforcement
credentials, there is nothing more that can be done by us at this
time. If the man has transgressed the laws of the land or specific
rules/restrictions where he resides, then it is up to the local law
enforcement officials there to ensure that he is taken to task for
those transgressions. Frustrating as this situation is for you, it
is also highly frustrating for us to hear of this situation and
still admit that there is nothing we can do beyond informing you of
the truth regarding Mr. CHESSER’s
claimed military credentials.
I
wish you the very best in handling this situation, and suspect that
it will soon fall within the purview of your local courts to
administer corrective actions with regard to Mr. CHESSER’s
actions.

Anyone have anything on a Danny Christopher for a DSC in Vietnam? http://napavalleyregister.com/eagle/news/local/vietnam-vet-would-do-it-all-again/article_92529804-003c-11e1-bf27-001cc4c002e0.html
I don’t have ANY RVN DSCs by that last name.
In July 1967, Christopher and his comrades were building roads when some Vietcong hiding in a nearby bunker with a machine gun began shooting, pinning the soldiers down. Christopher’s lieutenant asked him to take them out. The soldiers provided cover to allow Christopher to low crawl near the bunker. When he reached the bunker, he threw two grenades into it, saving the lives of his comrades. Christopher said he was good at throwing grenades because he played baseball. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for the lives he saved that day........ds

We are retracting the story “Vietnam vet would do it all again” that appeared in the Nov. 3 issue since at this time the subject of the story can’t provide proof of his statement he was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for his actions in combat.
This week Dan Christopher said he recently filed paperwork with the Army for a replacement medal and accompanying documentation. While we have no reason to believe Christopher has made a false claim and he freely admitted beforehand to not having any evidence of the award, pending confirmation the Eagle cannot stand by the story.

The Seven Faces of “Dr.” Churchill
Academia’s everyman.
Does Ward Churchill even exist?
..... Churchill has spoken of the firsthand trauma of battle
service as a combat veteran, both as a paratrooper and as a sniper —
among the most hazardous of corps in the United States military. Once
again, there is no such evidence that he served in any capacity other
than what his official duties in a motor pool and as a projectionist
entailed.
Embarrassed officials claim Churchill was sought after by other
universities — so they had to reel in this trophy catch before he got
away — but no one can find any proof other than Churchill’s own
mendacious claims....
