THOSE CLAIMING MEDAL OF HONOR
NOTE: In 1996 HLI Lordship
Industries (at the time, the OFFICIAL USG contractor for the Medal of
Honor) admitted selling THREE HUNDRED unauthorized medals for $75.00
each from 1991-1994. They were fined $80,000. NOT ALL of those medals
have been recovered. Offenders in possession of an
unauthorized medal can be arrested, fined (up to $10,000) and jailed
(up to a year). It is the only military medal that CANNOT be bought,
sold, bartered, traded, collected, auctioned, exchanged.... EVERY
Medal of Honor is awarded by act of Congress. Less than 150 REAL Medal
of Honor recipients are alive today.

Claims
Navy Seal. Claims he is now receiving disability benefits from childhood
injuries, but he has told the VA doctors that it was "war
related." He claims that his training took place in
California and that he went on missions in Iraq...that was evidently his
story to the VA doctor. For a very long time, he had a MySpace under the
name of Mike D. Dallas.
Reported to have smoked pot and was arrested for a DWI while in the
NAVY. He lives with his mother in a two bedroom apartment
and doesn't work. He brags about his "disability" check
that he gets for "war wounds!" He has told people
at church, in restaurants, anyone that will listen that he was a
NAVY SEAL. As for BUDS information...he can't remember or it is
classified...depends on what day you talk to him.

Dear
POW Network,
If the name in the newspaper
link you provided is spelled correctly, I do NOT
find a listing in the SEAL Database (end of WWII to the Present Day) for
anyone named EDWARD C. DAVIS (age 66).
I have also examined possible alternate spellings, and names with similar
pronunciations without finding any that might be applicable.
Unless
he had undertaken the unlikely action of a legal name change (an action for
which there would be court documentation) since attending BUD/S training,
and based upon the information provided in the news article (http://www.thedailyjournal.com/article/20081015/OBITUARIES/810150323),
I can state conclusively that EDWARD C.
DAVIS has NEVER COMPLETED UDT/SEAL training, and he is not now, nor was he
ever a Navy SEAL or a Navy UDT “Frogman”.
No one gets to
the SEAL Teams without first completing BUD/S Training. There are records of
every man who has qualified for the title of “SEAL”; there have been and
will continue to be secret missions, but there are NO secret SEALs… we
know them all. I will
communicate this same information/finding to the editors of the THE DAILY

CLAIMS
NAVY SEAL, Admiral, deploys often, SEAL TEAM 1
====================

I greatly
appreciate your interest in upholding the honor of the US Navy SEAL Teams,
and your search for the TRUTH. Before answering your questions I must make
clear that I am a private individual, not affiliated with the US Dept. of
Defense or any other government organization. I am one of about a dozen men
in America who possess a copy of the SEAL Database, a comprehensive and
regularly updated listing of all men who trained and served with the Naval
Special Warfare units (SEALs, UDT, NCDU, S&R) from the end of WWII to
the present day. I also have access to archival sources who can verify/deny
claims of service DURING WWII. As a former US Navy SEAL myself, I am fully
familiar with the NSW training program and the standard operating procedures
used by the Teams, as well as an in-depth personal knowledge of many of the
‘insider’ events and incidents which UDT “Frogmen” and SEALs offer
as a part of their bona fides. My efforts to expose SEAL imposters are
performed free of charge, as a service to the public, and in honor of my
SEAL Teammates who gave their lives in service to our nation… men who
truly earned the right to the title “US NAVY SEAL” but who are no longer
able to stand forward in defense of their honor, their reputations, and
their TEAMs.
If
the name you provided is spelled correctly, I do NOT
find a listing in the SEAL database of successful graduates for anyone named
ROBERT
D. DAY. I have also examined possible alternate spellings,
and names with similar pronunciations. In the entirety of the SEAL Database
(end of WWII to the present day) there are ten
(10) men listed in the SEAL
Database with the last name “DAY”;
none of those ten men has either the first name “ROBERT”
or any variant thereof.
Unless
he has undertaken the unlikely action of a legal name change (an action for
which there would be court documentation) since his claimed attendance at
BUD/S training, and based upon the information you have provided, I
can state conclusively that ROBERT
D. DAY has NEVER
COMPLETED SEAL training, and he is not now, nor was he ever a Navy SEAL.
It
is quite common for those making fraudulent SEAL claims to cite a
“secret” training class, “special selection and skills which allowed
them to bypass BUD/S training”, or “secret missions” as an explanation
for the lack of military documentation to back up their stories. They also
tend to claim their military records are “sealed” and cannot be
accessed. I would caution you that despite anything the man might have said,
there are NO secret SEALs. Before any classified operations may be
undertaken, a man must first successfully complete the totally unclassified
BUD/S Training program. No one gets to the SEAL Teams without completing
this training; there are NO EXCEPTIONS! The graduates of that training
program are listed in the SEAL database – an unclassified document which
is nonetheless considered “highly sensitive” and therefore not available
for general public circulation. There have been and will continue to be
secret missions, but there are NO secret SEALs… we know them all.
When members of
the Naval Special Warfare community meet others who claim similar service,
but whom they do not recognize, there is a conversational exchange of
information that establishes the bona fides of each to the other. There is
no set formula for this exchange, nor for the information that is exchanged,
but it ALWAYS takes place, and the REAL Naval Special Warfare members can
ALWAYS spot a phony as a result of this exchange. If you have an opportunity
to speak with the man at some point in the future, I might suggest that you
to ask Mr. DAY
these three questions:
(1) What was his
BUD/S Class Number? (NB: No
SEAL ever forgets the class number he shouted all day long, every day, for 6
months)
(2) Where
did his training take place? (NB: Training has been conducted at several
locations over the years; different portions in different places)
(3) When
did he graduate from Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) training?
(i.e. a specific graduation DATE)
There
are many other questions which could be asked to further establish the level
of veracity or untruth regarding his claims, such as asking for the names of
other members of his graduating class, but those three basic questions are
absolutes. The answers to those three questions are totally UNCLASSIFIED,
and every real SEAL will gladly provide that substantiating information upon
request. Doubtless you will be told that the information is either
classified or sensitive and cannot be provided, or you will be given some
totally bogus information. You already know that the man is an imposter, but
this specific inquiry will let HIM know that you are aware of his duplicity.
At that point you will have the option of telling him that you “have
reported his charade” to the real SEALs. This is likely to be sufficient
to shut him down.
There
are no “weekend heroes” in the SEAL Teams. There are no “reservists”
being whisked off for “active duty” on a moment’s notice for some
short-term combat assignment. If a man is a legitimate Navy Reservist he
must first be called to Active Duty before being sent to combat, but that
process will involve orders, time schedules, uniform inspections, issuance
of “war bag” equipments, travel vouchers, travel orders, notification of
his civilian employer, and much, much more. There will be absolutely no
doubt in anyone’s mind that the person is in the military. Anyone serving
in the military in any capacity will be required to stand duty, muster for
inspections, and otherwise carry on a military schedule on a daily basis. If
someone is claiming that he is a “secret SEAL” and being called away for
an indefinite period of time for “classified missions” on a moment’s
notice, then the strongest likelihood is that he is engaged in a tryst with
someone else other than his wife/spouse/girlfriend, and is using the false
military claims as an excuse for his absence.
The
number of Navy SEALs who have made it to the rank of ADMIRAL can be counted
on two hands, with fingers left over. We know who they are, where they are
(even after retirement), when they served, and where they served. I examined
his military.com web profile and it has numerous errors, not the least of
which are the units and dates which he associates with each one, and the
monstrous list of medals he claims to have earned (some of which are
displayed TWICE).
One last note; It
was formerly a violation of federal law to WEAR
specific military unit insignia, badges, patches, pins, tabs, awards,
commendations, medals, or uniform garments for which one did not have
formal/official authorization. Such actions were listed as a prosecutable
offense under Title 18 US Code Section 702 and 704, which specified up to
$5,000 in fines and up to 6 months imprisonment per each count on which an
offender was convicted. It was subsequently recognized by lawmakers that a
loophole of sorts existed within the wording of Title 18 USC which allowed
imposters to make false verbal claims regarding military credentials, and to
then display items for which they had no legitimate authorization as
keepsakes without legal repercussions so long as they did not actually wear
them on their person. To avoid prosecution false claimants often filled
their walls with forged citations, commendations, and awards for valor, and
then posed for pictures beside those false certificates, but never actually
WORE them on their person.
An amendment to
Title 18 USC, Section 704, called the “STOLEN
VALOR ACT” (S.1998), was signed into law on 20 Dec 2006, and
now makes it illegal to even make false VERBAL
claims of receiving “any of the service
medals or badges awarded to the members of such forces, the ribbon, button,
or rosette of any such badge, decoration, or medal, or any colorable
imitation of such item”. That amendment very specifically
identifies certain awards for valor – including the CONGRESSIONAL MEDAL OF
HONOR, the DISTINGUISHED SERVICE CROSS, the NAVY CROSS, the AIR CROSS, the
SILVER STAR, the BRONZE STAR, the PURPLE HEART, and the POW MEDAL – which,
if falsely claimed, are considered grounds for prosecution. It must be
presumed that since the earning of the status of US Navy SEAL carries with
it a special Naval Enlisted Classification (NEC) code and a unique breast
insignia (SEAL Trident badge) that the offering of false verbal
claims of being a SEAL would also fall within the jurisdiction of this
amended version of the 18USC. This matter, of course, would be for the
courts to determine.
Mr. DAY’s
online display of claimed medals on MILITARY.COM includes the NAVY
CROSS, the SILVER STAR,
the BRONZE STAR, and the PURPLE
HEART, all of which are specific violations of the STOLEN VALOR
ACT and can certainly be traced by the federal authorities to his specific
home IP address and computer. At a bare minimum those violations alone would
constitute a potential for $40,000 in fines and several years of
imprisonment in a federal detention facility.
Thank you again
for your concern in this matter, and for your assistance in upholding the
honor of the US Navy SEAL Teams. As noted in my opening paragraph, I am a
private individual and am in no way affiliated with the US Department of
Defense or the US government. Despite any reports you may make/send to me
regarding Mr. DAY’s
false SEAL claims, any such information which I might pass along to the
authorities in this matter would be classified as “hearsay” and
therefore inadmissible in a court of law. The responsibility for reporting
the individual named in your inquiry to the federal authorities as a
military imposter rests with you and with anyone else who may have
personally heard or received these claims from the individual himself.
Whether or not you decide to report him to the federal authorities is
entirely up to you, but at least you now know the truth regarding his bogus
claims. If I can be of any further assistance to you in this matter, please
contact me at your convenience.

Gene Franklin DeFord
Gene DeFord, WWII Veteran, beloved husband and
father, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 6, 2009. He
was 81 years old.
Gene was born April 26, 1927 in Ashland, Oregon, to the pioneer family
of Byron Franklin DeFord and Addie Laura Cameron.
He attended Yelm High School. He volunteered for the Navy on his
sixteenth birthday. Being 6' 4", he was counting on the fact that
he would be accepted as old enough to join. That's exactly what
happened.
In 1943, Gene traveled to England for training in the Underwater
Demolition Team, what is now called the Navy Seals. Under Wild Bill
Donovan, General in Command of the United States Office of Strategic
Services, he saw service in most of the world during the war. During
his UDT years, his team set several free-diving depth records.
At Normandy on June 8, 1944, Gene was cited for a Silver Star by
General Ted Roosevelt. That same day he was cited for another Silver
Star by Lord Louie Mountbatten. On June 13, 1944, he was again cited
for a Silver Star by General George Patton. Gene believed he was the
only 17-year-old to have ever received a triple Silver Star. "The
water ran red with American Blood. Our team lost 95%. We were getting
killed on the beach. I was not injured, but just a little tired,"
from Gene's memoirs.
Gene helped liberate prison camps and was proud to have been aboard
the USS Franklin "Big Ben", the most decorated people in
Naval history. He served on the islands of Tarawa and Iwo Jima during
major battles. On October 24, 1944, Gene was engaged in the battle of
the Philippine Sea on Palawan Island. He was severely injured and was
cited for the Purple Heart. .....
Memorial services will be held at Mills and Mills Funeral Home, 5725
Littlerock Road SW, Tumwater, on Friday, February 13, 2009 at 3:00
p.m. A potluck reception will immediately follow at the VFW at 2902

I
know that some of our WWII associates in the OSS Maritime Unit worked in
Great Britain, but didn’t think that any of the UDT training took place
there. This leads me to be suspicious of all of the claims offered in this
obituary.
SR
We have no record of this man being in the Teams, ever. The triple
silver
star for a 17 year old is way beyond belief.
RD
Had he been a seaman he would have trained at Sampson in NYS - the
only source of the seamen for Normandy. I can tell you that he was NOT
a member of a demolition unit at Normandy. He would have used correct
terminology and never confused OSS and the Navy's demo men. He is not
listed among the OSS Swimmers Group affiliated with the London Office
of the OSS.
His obit says he was on the USS Ben Franklin - I presume as either
ship's company or as a passenger. If he was part of ship's company,
then he was fleet personnel and not likely to have been part of the
OSS.
He most likely did "boot camp" at a Naval Training Center in
his home
state. Perhaps there was one near Bremerton.

you are so concerned about your "rights" as a disabled person. as
i recall from my civics classes as citizens of the United
States, we are guaranteed only 3 rights. those being: 1. the right of life,
2. the right of liberty, 3. the right of the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. you
seem to have given up number 3 in the pursuit of misery and "the
world owes me because i am disabled". doesn't work that way my
friend. rights are only their because someone fought for them and you are
protecting them. amongst other injuries i gave my left ball in the defense

N.J. official accused of faking combat record
The Associated Press
Posted : Wednesday Nov 26, 2008 18:45:54 EST
TRENTON, N.J. — An official in the state Department of Military and
Veterans Affairs has been accused of falsifying his veteran and
government records in order to receive a tax exemption and medical
benefits.
William Devereaux, the department’s director of veterans programs,
was arrested Monday, issued a summons and released. A court hearing has
not yet been scheduled.
In announcing the arrest on Wednesday, the Camden County
Prosecutor’s Office said the 63-year-old Laurel Springs resident
invented a false history of combat heroism in the Vietnam War. The
prosecutor’s office said its investigation was prompted by information
provided by the county Office of Veterans Affairs.
Prosecutors said Devereaux falsely claimed on military benefits forms
for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs that he served as a
paratrooper and artilleryman during the war and was injured multiple
times. He also claimed to have received medals including the Purple
Heart and the Bronze Star with “V” device.
Authorities said Devereaux served as a payroll distribution
specialist in Vietnam for about 4½ months in 1968 and never served as a
paratrooper or artilleryman. They also said he never received the medals
he claimed to have and that there was no record of his being injured in
combat.
Devereaux received $34,000 in compensation from Veterans Affairs
based on the falsified records, authorities said.
He is also accused of wrongly claiming exemption from property taxes
in Laurel Springs by claiming he was 100 percent disabled due to
military service.
He was charged with falsifying or tampering with records and theft by
failure to make required disposition.
Devereaux, who was appointed to the state post in 2004 by former Gov.
James McGreevey, did not return a telephone message left at his home on
Wednesday. It was not clear if he had retained a lawyer.

FOR IMMEDIATE
RELEASE:
Contact: Jason Laughlin
Phone: (856) 225-8444
Camden County
Prosecutor Warren W. Faulk, Special Agent in Charge of the Northeast
Field Office of Veterans Affairs Jeffrey G. Hughes, Laurel Springs
Police Chief Michael Wolcott and Director of the Camden County Office of
Veterans Affairs Norm Sooy reported Wednesday a borough resident and
state Military and Veterans Affairs official was arrested for falsifying
his veteran and government records in order to receive tax exemption and
benefit.
William
Devereaux, M/63, of the 700 block of Sycamore Court in Laurel Springs,
was arrested Monday morning and charged with Falsifying or Tampering
with Records and Theft by Failure to Make Required Disposition.
It is alleged
Devereaux, appointed Director of Veterans Programs for the New Jersey
Department of Military and Veterans Affairs by former Gov. James
McGreevey, invented a false history of combat and heroism in the Vietnam
War. He claimed on military benefits forms for the U.S. Department of
Veterans Affairs that, as a paratrooper and artilleryman, he exchanged
fire with enemy combatants and was engaged in an incident of friendly
fire. He claimed to have been injured multiple times in Vietnam. He also
claimed to have received medals like the Purple Heart, the Soldiers
Medal and the Bronze Star with “V” device. These confabulations
allowed Devereaux to receive compensation benefits for medical disorders
he claimed he sustained in combat.
In fact,
Devereaux was never a paratrooper or artilleryman. He served as a
payroll distribution specialist in Vietnam for 4 months, 11 days in
1968. He received none of the heroic medals he claimed to have and there
is no record of his being injured in combat. He appears to have
falsified his record to bolster his claim to benefits he was not
entitled to receive.
By falsifying
his veterans’ record, Devereaux received $34,000 in compensation from
Veterans Affairs.
He was also
accused of wrongly claiming exemption from property taxes in Laurel
Springs between April 2002 and this year. He used falsified veterans
affairs and state records to claim he was 100 percent permanently and
totally disabled due to military service, qualifying him for property
tax exemption. In fact Veterans Affairs had stated Devereaux was only
temporarily disabled and was eligible to pay property taxes.
Devereaux
owes Laurel Springs more than $40,000 in taxes.
The Camden
County Prosecutor’s Office wishes to thank the Camden County Office of
Veterans Affairs for bringing Devereaux’s falsehoods to light.
He was issued
a summons Monday morning and released. Court hearings remain to be
scheduled.
All persons
charged with criminal offenses are innocent unless and until found
guilty in a court of law.

In an online article for ELPASOTIMES.COM entitled “Officer
hurt in crash an ex-SEAL” (http://www.elpasotimes.com/news/ci_10145532)
you offer the following statement:
“Robert
Patrick Dimuzio, the El Paso police officer critically injured late
Wednesday in an off-duty motorcycle accident, is a well-liked officer and
former U.S. Navy SEAL
who enjoys working the graveyard shift, his commander said Friday.”
Further on in
the article you state:
“Maloney
said Dimuzio was in the U.S. Navy for about eight years and was
a member of the SEALs,
a maritime force involved in direct action and special reconnaissance
operations.”
While it is
unfortunate that officer Dimuzio was injured, either in the line of duty
or off duty, and while the community in which he serves certainly
deserves to know of his accident, the information contained in your
story is not entirely factual. I am one of about a dozen persons in the
nation who holds a current/up-to-date copy of the SEAL Database – a
comprehensive listing of all men who successfully graduated from the US
Navy’s UDT/SEAL training course (Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL
training… referred to as “BUD/S”). While that database does
include the names of many men who are factual heroes, and a few who have
transgressed the laws of our land, it does not contain the name
“Robert Patrick Dimuzio”. In point of fact there are no listings in
the entirety of the database (end of WWII to the present day) for anyone
with the last name “Dimuzio” or any spelling variant thereof.
Unless he has
undertaken the unlikely action of a legal name change (an action for
which there would be
supporting proof in the form of court documentation) since
his supposed
service with the SEAL Teams, I can state conclusively that ROBERT
PATRICK DIMUZIO has NEVER completed SEAL training, and
he is not now, nor was he ever a US Navy SEAL or UDT “Frogman”....

Man in teen's death denied bail reduction / He
admitted he had lied about being a Navy SEAL. He is accused of giving
the girl a fatal dose of cocaine.
By Keith Herbert
Inquirer Staff Writer
David F. Downey, the boastful businessman prosecutors
say provided the cocaine that killed a 17-year-old escort at his
Limerick home, admitted in court yesterday that he was never a U.S. Navy
SEAL.
Downey, however, is a bully, contended Montgomery
County District Attorney Bruce L. Castor Jr. He was trying to keep a
judge from lowering Downey's $250,000 bail in connection with death of
teenager Ashley Burg.
"I'm trying to remember if I've ever seen a
criminal defendant who was more personally disliked," Castor said
before yesterday's court hearing. "This guy has people who actually
know him coming forward just to tell us things that he has done to them
that indicate bad character."
Whether Downey, 52, was a SEAL became an issue last
week when Montgomery County prosecutors petitioned the court to reject
an effort by Downey to get his bail reduced. Prosecutors cited Downey's
claims as evidence that the computer consultant might intimidate
witnesses.
But at a hearing before Judge Richard Hodgson, Downey
testified that he wasn't a SEAL, said Thomas C. Egan III, Downey's
attorney.
Hodgson denied Downey's request for lower bail. Downey
was taken from the courtroom in handcuffs and returned to Montgomery
County Correctional Facility. A preliminary hearing date has not been
scheduled.
In a court filing, Egan admitted
that Downey wasn't a SEAL or, as he also had claimed, an undercover CIA
operative.
Castor said it wasn't hard to find
people who heard Downey brag about a nonexistent military record.
Or who said he had threatened them.
A school administrator had told prosecutors that
Downey called the school and threatened to "rip the lungs" out
of a third grader and the child's parents, Castor said on Thursday. The
child was "not playing well" with one of Downey's children, he
said.
In another incident, Downey said that he was
"going to kill a waiter at a restaurant in Skippack" because
Downey believed he'd received bad service, Castor said.
"He said he was going to have his Marine buddies
laying for him out in the parking lot," Castor said. "We think
this demonstrates that Downey is a bully."
Montgomery County detectives arrested Downey on Dec.
23 in Maryland, where he had purchased a home in Anne Arundel County.
Downey was charged with drug delivery resulting in death, equivalent to
third-degree murder, possession of cocaine, and patronizing a
prostitute.
Through contacts made at a Philadelphia strip club
called Tattle Tales South, Downey called for an escort to travel to his
Limerick home on the night of July 30, police said.
A dancer at the bar, Kim Victorine, and her boyfriend,
Derrick Schrandt, both of Philadelphia, drove Burg to Downey's home,
arriving in the early hours of July 31. Schrandt sold Downey an
"eight-ball," a street term for 3.5 grams of cocaine, police
said.
A grand jury found that Downey furnished cocaine to
Burg, and that she overdosed while lying on Downey's sofa. Downey failed
to call for help, and later paid two people, Christine Shute and Mike
Tees, both of Philadelphia, to take Burg's body from his home, court
records state.
Burg's body was found along a road in Northeast
Philadelphia on Aug. 1. Through his attorney, Downey had denied ever
giving Burg cocaine and told police Burg was alive when she left his
home.

TEMECULA, Calif. -- A man in uniform collecting
"Fallen Soldiers Fund" cash outside a Temecula Wal-Mart
has been arrested for impersonating a veteran and soliciting money
for personal gain.
A Riverside County sheriff's sergeant says John
Clifford Downs, who also goes by the name Johnny Frischknecht, was
spotted outside the store asking for money while holding a homemade
sign reading "Fallen Soldiers Fund."
The 44-year-old Downs told a police officer he was an
Army major, but he couldn't produce a military identification. Sgt.
Keith Knotek says it was determined Downs was not serving in the
military and he was booked into jail.

He stands accused in Florida of bigamy, for
allegedly carrying on marriages to two women at once, during which time
he proposed to a third.
Over 20 years, former Louisville businessman and
educator George W. Dumstorf Jr. juggled three wives and a girlfriend,
the women say, in what prosecutors call "a scheme to court single
ladies ... and make money off of them."
To explain his frequent absences, he told the women, who didn't know
each other, that he had a secret job at NASA's Kennedy Space Center,
that he was an Air Force general, that he worked for the CIA.
None of it was true, according to spokesmen for

Years after my book was published, I learned that Duncan had never

book:
Much later I learned by visiting
navyseals.com that Del Duncan¹s name appears on the ³Wall of Shame²
for falsely claiming to be a Seal. The following appears at
www.authentiseal.org/reportsd.htm:
NAME: Duncan, Del
FALSE CLAIM: SEAL
CITY: New Knoxville
STATE: OH
DATE POSTED: 05 MAY 2001
RATING: * * * * *
COMMENTS: Part of First Way Corps
The five-star rating, the worst possible, indicates
that ³Claimant is Œincorrigible¹ and continues to make claims
despite proof that his claims are not supported by government records.²
I never had a chance to ask Del about this because
he died two years before it came to my attention, one year after I
last spoke with him on the phone.
I'm sorry for perpetuating a falsehood. But I still
believe that most of what Duncan told me about The Way International
was real. Of course, now that he's dead, it's a little hard to
pin him down on any of it.
Cheers,

writing on my experience as intelligence officer with 7AF and 9SRW
implies that I was a pilot of the aircraft in the book is erroneous.
Posting promotes book not my being pilot.
Need to clarify...correction to
Facebook - which makes my association relative to the novel crystal
clear has been posted.
Please indicate my input on your site.
Thank you. Martin DuPont
==============================================
Told he was writing a book about his experiences as a Blackbird
pilot and it is to eventually become a movie. He claims that not only
was he an SR-71 pilot in the mid 60's but he crash landed his SR in
Uzbekistan after experiencing a severe mechanical problem in the
aircraft. He and his RO were unable to eject and his RO was killed in
the crash. Martin was ultimately able to escape to friendly territory
after several weeks with the help of local anti-Soviet resistance
fighters. Martin also claims this was all highly classified, never
released to the public and his book will be the first revelation of
this mission.
Claims the story that his pilot experience and the crash, etc is
classified and that's why there's no record of him on any of the SR-71
websites.

Subject: RE: An important request please & then I'm done
#1. We
have access to a list of every pilot and RSO who checked out
in the SR-71, including the test pilots and the people who had
Dollar rides.
#2. We
know exactly how many SR-71s were built, which crashed, and where
they crashed, and who flew them when they crashed.
#3. The
entire SR-71 program is now unclassified. Make him
prove his story. Let's have that "convincing
information" he has.

ACTUAL
RECORDS
Yes, he's another
phony bastard. All SR-71 (and most of the A-12 stuff is
unclassified now including stuff that was done at Groom Lake (Area
51). NO ONE WAS EVER KILLED IN A SR-71 INCIDENT!!!

YOU ALL MIGHT RECALL THAT "SOF" MAGAZINE DID A
TAKE-DOWN YEARS AGO OF KARATE GUY/"KUMI TE

BUSTED HIM WIDE OPEN AS A BULLSHIT ARTIST AFTER HIS BOOK,
"THE SECRET MAN," CAME OUT. ( JUG BURKETT
MENTIONED DUX IN HIS BOOK. WELL, "SOF" LED THAT
MISSION.) MONTHS LATER, DUX'S BOOK QUIETLY WAS WITHDRAWN
FROM PUBLICATION AFTER THE NEW YORK CITY YUPPIE PUBLISHERS
WERE HUMILIATED BY "SOF." THE SCRIPPS-HOWARD
NEWS SERVICE PICKED UP ON THE EXPOSE; GOT A
FAXED QUOTE FROM NORMAN SCHWARZKOPF. NOT LONG AFTER THE
TAKE-DOWN, DUX AND
JEAN CLAUDE VAN DAMM HAD A FALLING OUT. VAN DAMM LATE-80'S
MOVIE, "BLOOD SPORT," WAS BASED ON DUX'S
FICTION, WHICH HE HAD SOLD AS FACT.

Is
it true Frank Dux was exposed as a fraud?
|
Frank Dux like
most celebrities is continually subjected to
misleading and sensationalized reporting, that often
results in unsubstantiated allegations being made
and repeated.
For example, the most common allegation of wrong
doing stems from an editorial written by Los Angeles
Times reporter who turns out is the one exposed as
deceptive in a case of libel and slander of Frank
Dux v. Robert Brown, Alexander McColl, Larry
Baily and Soldier
Of Fortune Magazine, Case No: BC198883,
Superior Court Of California, Los Angeles County

THOMAS A |

03/2009 |
ANCHORAGE, Alaska —
A Ketchikan man has been indicted on charges of lying about his
military record.
U.S. Attorney Karen Loeffler says 53-year-old Thomas A. Dye is
charged with two counts of violating the Stolen Valor Act, which
criminalizes false claims to military medals.
He's also charged with two counts of misusing federal documents,
including use of an altered military discharge certificate and the
false use of Coast Guard Merchant Mariner license.
Loeffler says Dye lied about his military service for financial
gain and posed as a decorated member of the armed forces, wearing
medals and decorations he was not entitled to, including the Bronze
Star, the Purple Heart and the Combat Action Ribbon.
The indictment was handed down Wednesday.

Claims Master Chief
in the US Navy Seals, and POW during Desert Storm.
Supposedly he was shot twice.
=================
Claims he was
part of DS/DS. He told me that he was part of the SEAL Team that hit
the beaches before the War started.. He claimed to be a Sniper for the
SEALs and that he on several occasions had Saddam Hussein in his scope
so clear, that he could count his (Saddams) nose hairs.. He was
stationed with the SEAL Teams out of Virginia. Said that when he and
his Team went ashore for a Mission in Kuwait, his Team came under
heavy fire and he fell into a "Stick Pit" and was captured.
He claimed that one other Member of his Team was KIA and his body
burned so badly that they could not identify the remains and that he
(Jimmy) had been mistaken for the dead SEAL, so his family had to bury
an empty coffin. Later it was learned that he was in fact he was a
P.O.W. in Baghdad and that he would be home soon..
He always said that his BUDs Class number
was Classified and that due to the work he did with the CIA, that all
of his SEAL information was Top Secret and he could not talk about
specifics.. He claimed that during S.E.R.E. Training that he and his
team "Captured" the SEAL Instructors..
He claimed he had a P.O.W. Medal, a
Purple Heart and A NAVY Cross, for all that happened during the war..
He could not show them to me, cause they were given in a Secret
Ceremony.
....ran into other people who he conned and
scammed. Saying he was not only a SEAL, but that he was in fact a
P.O.W. And had been shot. Would you believe he actually went to a
Catholic Church and asked them for money? He used his
"injuries" to get it.

He supposedly works in the Oil Field
somewhere down in Texas or in Arkansas.

...
If the name you provided was spelled accurately, we do NOT
have a listing for anyone named James/Jimmy
Lee Dyson Jr in our entire database of nearly 10,000 names.
In fact we don’t have a single person listed with the last name
DYSON. Please be aware that I also checked for possible spelling
variations and alternate pronunciations but found none that matched.
Unless
he has undertaken the unlikely action of a full legal name change
since his claimed service with the SEAL Teams, I can state
conclusively that James/Jimmy Lee
Dyson Jr has NEVER completed SEAL training, and he is not
now, nor was he ever a Navy SEAL. While there are other steps that
must be completed before becoming a SEAL, BUD/S training is the first
and most vital. Without having completed BUD/S training, a man cannot
go on to become a SEAL.
It
is quite common for those making fraudulent SEAL claims – especially
claims involving extraordinary combat heroics – to cite a
“secret” training class or “secret mission” as an explanation
for the lack of military documentation to back up their stories. Not
being satisfied with SEAL claims alone, these imposters often make
additional claims of special skills (sniper, courier, etc), or of
participation in covert operations for the CIA or other “shadowy”
agencies, in order to re-emphasize the “ultra-secret” nature of
the work they claim to have done and the “extremely classified”
and “inaccessible” nature of their military records.
The
overall intention is to convey to the listener that the person making
the statements is not only an “extraordinary and deadly warrior”,
but also one of the very rare persons the government has decided to
trust with the most sensitive, top secret information… all in an
effort to make the story teller appear “better” than those who
hear his stories. I would caution you that while there are secret
missions, there are NO secret SEALs… we know them all, and James/Jimmy
Lee Dyson Jr isn’t one of us.
There
is one other extremely important point to make regarding the man’s
claims - there have NEVER been any UDT Frogmen or SEALs captured,
detained, or held as prisoners of war... not in ANY war, not EVER!
This important point of information may be verified by the POW Network
(www.pownetwork.org).
I
checked another online database held by the Department of Defense and
accessed through www.military.com
under the Freedom Of Information Act by using their Buddy Finder. That
database contains over 10 million records, is one of the most complete
available to the general public, and is fairly accurate from about
1974 to the present day. That database originally began as a listing
of all military service personnel who might have been exposed to Agent
Orange while on duty in Vietnam, and was a means of keeping records
for later possible monetary compensation. It was subsequently expanded
to include virtually ALL members of the military in later years. The
closer to the present time, the more detailed and complete the records
in the database. While I found listings for several men named James
Dyson, none of them had the middle name “Lee”, and none of them
were indicated as serving as a “Master Chief Petty Officer” (E9).
Government documentation (at least that portion available through this
particular DoD database) does not appear to substantiate his claims of
military service, and he was most definitely NEVER A US NAVY SEAL! ...
Very
Respectfully,
