I was walking into Office Depot last Monday, right behind the guy in the
picture. I was so shocked I had to take his photo, but didn't know
how
to do it covertly. Instead, I simply said to him, "that's an amazing uniform... can I take your picture?" He said sure... turned around at the position of attention and I snapped it on my phone. I asked him, "how long have you been in the service?" He said 30 years. I asked him
if he's still in and he said yes. My guess would be he was never in
the
service and if he was. well, you'll see what I mean when you see his uniform.
My personal favorite is the two NCO Professional Development ribbons on
the uniform (one being framed as a unit award). It's also fun to guess how many errors there are. END QUOTE |

10/24/2006 I
greatly appreciate your interest in upholding the honor of the US Navy
SEAL Teams, and your search for the TRUTH. Before answering your
questions I must make clear that I am a private individual, not
affiliated with the US Dept. of Defense or any government organization.
Additionally, although I worked for/with the AuthentiSEAL verification
organization for several years as an Investigator (and later as a
Special Investigator dealing with the media), I ceased to work for that
organization in any capacity in late 2004. That said,
I assure you that my copy of the SEAL database is current and complete
to the present date. If
the name you provided is spelled correctly, I do NOT
find a listing in the SEAL database of successful graduates for anyone
named NICHOLAS
“NICK” ARDIZZONE. I have also examined possible alternate
spellings, and names with similar pronunciations. Please be aware that I
do not have access to any records (official or unofficial) listing the
names of individuals who reported for SEAL training, but who
subsequently failed to complete the training program. Unless
he has undertaken the unlikely action of a legal name change (an action
for which there would be court documentation) since his claimed
attendance at BUD/S training, and based upon the scant name-only
information you have provided, I
can state conclusively that NICHOLAS “NICK” ARDIZZONE has NEVER
COMPLETED SEAL training, and he is not now, nor was he ever a Navy SEAL.
It
is quite common for those making fraudulent SEAL claims to cite a
“secret” training class, “special selection and skills which
allowed them to bypass BUD/S training”, or “secret missions” as an
explanation for the lack of military documentation to back up their
stories. They also tend to claim their military records are “sealed”
and cannot be accessed. I would caution you that despite anything the
man might have said, there are NO secret
SEALs. Before any classified operations may be undertaken, a man must
first successfully complete the totally unclassified BUD/S Training
program. No one gets to the SEAL Teams without completing this training;
there are NO EXCEPTIONS! The graduates of that training program are
listed in the SEAL database – an unclassified document which is
nonetheless considered “highly sensitive” and therefore not
available for general public circulation. There have been and will
continue to be secret missions, but there are NO secret SEALs… we know
them all. Thank
you again for your concern in this matter, and for your assistance in
upholding the honor of the US Navy SEAL Teams. Very
respectfully, Steve

"Snake" Arender Dear xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I sincerely appreciate all the time, dedication, and work that you have devoted to our fellow 3/26 Marines and Corpsmen over the years, so I wanted to contact you first regarding our 26th Marine Regiment websites which have somehow been destroyed / deleted from the internet by "unknown parties". Although I can not absolutely prove who deleted our websites, I personally believe that the deletion was done by former xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I know for a fact that the "two of them" had both my Bronze Star Medal with V and Purple Heart Medal "revoked by the (Acting) Secretary of the Navy B.J. Penn with help from xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx cronnies at IGMC (Inspector General Marine Corps)". xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx "used us as cannon fodder in the minefields of the Batangan Peninsula in Quang Ngai Province" and I TOLD Him so back about 2005. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, I am sorry that our 3/26 websites have been deleted. Semper Fidelis (Always Faithful, especially to My Friends) Loyde P. "Snake" Arender |
BS and PH are bogus. In 2009 the awards were rescinded after an
investigation by the Sect of the Navy that took several years and
included testimony from his commanding officers and the men he served
with.
====== He is former 3/26 Vietnam Marine who has a very creative imagination. Bad paper did not preclude his being hired as a Monroe LA policeman. ================================= 07/01/2009 To those who might possibly believe the claims of Mr. Arender: After an exhaustive, 5-year investigation, SecNav concurred earlier this year with a USMC recommendation to rescind the Bronze Star w/Combat distinguishing device, and the Purple Heart Medal from Mr. Arender, since they were fraudulently obtained. Mr. Arender acted on his own to fabricate eye witness accounts, and doctored other official awards documents, to have himself awarded the aforementioned medals. Obviously, no one person, much less a retired, 81-year old Colonel and a former Corpsman, could ramrod or pressure the USMC into making such a recommendation. Such allegations are preposterous, which any sane person can determine. Further, if it were up to those former members of 3/26 who were associated with Mr. Arender and his efforts to proffer himself a “hero,” we would have preferred to see him keep his various websites up and running. That way, he would have made himself liable to being charged and prosecuted for a 3rd degree federal felony under the Stolen Valor Act, for falsely purporting to be a PH recipient. Instead, I strongly suspect that Mr. Arender well knew what he left himself exposed to if he kept those websites up and running, and prudently opted to shut them down. While I doubt that he will ever admit to such, his efforts to blame others for the demise of his websites is consistent with his “modus operandi “ for the past 20+ years: it’s everyone else’s fault. Should anyone doubt the accuracy of why and how Arender’s BSM and PH medals were rescinded, we have a hard copy of the 115-page inquiry that was submitted to HQMC in April 2004 which served as the basis for the subsequent investigation. It is “Unclassified” and available for review. Robert T. Hickinbotham LtCol, USMC (Ret) K/3/26, 1969 ========================================= Sent to the Monroe News-Star for consideration as an editorial: Former
Loyde
Arender, a former Monroe Police officer, has recently had Bronze Star
and Purple Heart medals rescinded by the Secretary of the Navy. After an
exhaustive, 5-year investigation by the Marine Corps and the Department
of the Navy, Acting Secretary of the Navy B.J. Penn concurred earlier
this year with a Headquarters Marine Corps recommendation to rescind the
Bronze Star w/Combat distinguishing device, and the Purple Heart Medal
from Mr. Arender, since they were fraudulently obtained. It was
determined that Mr. Arender acted on his own to fabricate eye witness
accounts, and doctored other official awards documents, to have himself
awarded the aforementioned medals nearly 20 years ago. By his own
admission in a recent e-mail, Arender acknowledged that the awards had
been taken away. Despite the compelling evidence contained in the
investigation that the medals were fraudulently obtained, Arender
disavows any wrongdoing in the matter, and blames Officers and a platoon
Corpsman from his battalion in Robert T. Hickinbotham LtCol, USMC (Ret) K/3/26, 1969 |

He would describe events in Iraq and ask questions about Dallas as though he had never been here. He purported to have been in the Special Forces (Delta Force) as a sniper earned silver stars, and on one occasion discussed his time in the military where he also displayed a Purple Heart that he also supposedly earned. |

| Aucker, Raymond E. | 1999 2000 06/2006 |
EXPOSED |
Fri Jan 07,2000 Raymond Aucker under federal indictment for posing as a SEAL. Aucker hit by charge of altering his record U.S. prosecutor says former Panther Valley superintendent changed military certificates. By CHRIS PARKER Of The Morning Call Former Panther Valley School District Superintendent Raymond E. Aucker was charged Thursday in federal court with falsifying his military records to show he had received a Vietnam Campaign Medal and Service Ribbon, a Purple Heart and a Navy SEAL medal that doesn't exist. Aucker who moved to Iowa in February after his claims of being a SEAL were exposed as lies, faces a $100,000 fine and up to a year in prison if found guilty of altering his discharge papers, said Assistant U.S. Attorney Malachy Mannion. Aucker "did use, unlawfully possess and exhibit military and naval discharge certificates, knowing the same to be forged, counterfeited or falsely altered," according to a document filed in U.S. District Court in Scranton........ |
2005 -
He did NOT serve in the navy from 1971 to 1975. He entered service in 1974. He claimed he was in the Mekong Delta and the nearest town was Da Nang. Also, his buddy was a truck driver on the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Obviously, he didn't know what he was talking about. He has always been phony. =============== The SEAL phony group busted Aucker three or four years ago; he was superintendent of a school district in PA, and he left in the middle of the night and headed west. We tracked him to Georgia and Alabama and kept him from being hired by the school systems there. You're right--he's one of the worst frauds we have dealt with. His Master's and Ph.D. are phony, too. US Navy SEAL (ret.)
Denied licensure to teach by both Arizona and North Dakota ================================= Ex-Panther Valley official sentenced Staff Writer The former superintendent of the Panther Valley School District has been ordered to perform 200 hours of community service for falsifying his military records. Raymond Aucker, 46, was sentenced earlier this week by Judge Mark W. Bennett of the U.S. District Court in northern Iowa. He pleaded guilty on Oct. 4 in Sioux City, Iowa. Bennett had the option of giving Aucker a jail sentence but opted for probation and the 200 hours of community service. Aucker, who moved to Iowa after being fired from his post in January 1999, was charged in federal court in January with altering his military records to reflect that he received a Purple Heart, a Vietnam Campaign Medal and Service Ribbon, and a Navy SEAL medal. Aucker's claims that he was a member of the elite Navy Sea, Aid and Land team were later exposed to be false. In sentencing, Bennett said Aucker must perform his community service working with military veterans at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Mason City. Aucker's stories began to unravel in November 1998 when he told his so-called accomplishments to Ty Weaver, a Virginia native and United States Air Force veteran who visits the Coaldale/Panther Valley area on a regular basis. Weaver became suspicious of Aucker's stories and went to the Navy Special Warfare Archives where he found no record of Aucker. The archive lists the names of every person who graduated from the Basic Underwater Demolition/SEALS Team program. Aucker moved from Iowa to the Coaldale area after he assumed the superintendent post. Becoming a member of the Coaldale American Legion, he introduced himself as a former Navy SEAL and wore a Navy SEAL emblem on his cap. ==================================== 06/2006 - Reportedly applying for a position at a TX VA facility! 08/2006
