saved the lives of 8 of the 12 Seals on board. The 8 survivors of the

only 4 survived the Russian roulette games. Bob Young and 3 other Navy
Seals literally dug their way to freedom and after 3 years of digging -
they escaped. Bob Young's left leg was so severely beaten that even with
his crushed bones and gang green, he carried Seal Jacob Scott all the
way out. Immediately after the escape Bob Young had to have his left leg
amputated just above the knee. Bob Young was supposed to have had a son in the Navy, and while he was on a ship in the middle of the ocean last Oct/Nov of 2006, came up missing and the Navy had a shipboard memorial for him at sea. |

Zimmerman recently claimed that in order to be declared a POW, it has to be officially declared by an official country. He claims he was captured by the Viet Cong, and that's why he isn't on any official lists. (he wasn't declared a POW by Vietnam, the country)... |
... No man by the name of Zimmerman was ever with any
one of us, the real surviving 660 POWs of the Vietnam War, nor is he
known by Department of Defense in this regard. The official DoD
list of all 3,797 MIAs (to include the POWs) is listed on their web
site at: http://www.dtic.mil/dpmo/pmsea/files.htm
The 1,400 frauds, phonies, and POW wannabes (like Mr.
Zimmerman) are listed on the internet at: http://www.pownetwork.org/phonies/phonies.htm
