Sadly, I am not alone; I know of so far 6 other veterans who have been wrongly defamed by POWNETWORK.ORG; one of them, veteran Jere Beery well-intentionally placed his DD-214 report of his military service on the internet hoping to prove his background--only to have it used as a veritable Pandora's Box from which Valor Vultures nit-picked it to try to find offense--and failing that--make-up ones to harp on so they could have a convenient public victim to feed their racket. .... The afore mentioned Beery DD214 contained obvious alterations, and no disclaimer was posted that the additions were added by Mr. Beery himself. While Mr. Beery HAD earned the awards, the appropriate action would have been to post a DD125, or minimally note that HE, himself had added the awards to the DD214 he posted on the internet. ...."cashes-in" - at no time has the POW NETWORK received a reward, bounty, kickback, or payment for tips to law enforcement, the VA or the FBI that have resulted in prosecution. |

or charged for ANY offense; most especially on charges
of drug manufacture or distribution and
we encourage ANYONE with an interest in this matter to
search all law enforcement and court records for any
evidence of ANY illegal activities on the part of the

perform such a search of official documents and records,

The questionable investigation came about when Diane Weller publicly accused Jere Beery of falsifying his military service record and embellishing his DD214. | We could spent $100 a month for "reputation repair".... But it is our opinion that the "repair" sites are owned by the "complaint" sites. Why waste our money on less than half a dozen disgruntled individuals or those that continue to copy their letters as if they had written them.... years after the originals were posted. Our work speaks for itself. We continue to work with law enforcement, the VA, and military historians to make sure an accurate history of our military service members is maintained for future generations. | |||||||||||
| Meanwhile, someone continues to add pages to FACEBOOK in our name, usually with a spelling error, or purposeful alteration of name. It usually includes our POW NETWORK logo and our photo. The bigoted content is meant to embarrass us, and create misgivings in those that find it. When found, and reported, FACEBOOK removes it. The POW NETWORK does NOT/will NOT maintain a FACEBOOK nor MYSPACE site nor TWITTER account. | |||||||||||
