information, Source went to this location and observed the PW at a distance of
about three meters for two or three minutes. The PW had his hands tied behind
his back and had been disrobed completely except for his underwear. Along with
numerous villagers who had come to observe the PW, there were an unknown
number of militia armed with K-44 rifles from BA HIEN Village. Source believed
that after a short stay at the village militia headquarters, the PW would be
evacuated to HANOI City. (Interrogator's Note: Source's inability to read a
map and his limited knowledge of geographical and terrain features around his
village, made it impossible to provide grid coordinates for the location of
the sighting.) Source stated that the militia took the PW to their
headquarters on foot.
