Welcome to
Veterans Homecoming Week
(schedule)
We invite you to join the P.O.W. NETWORK (celebrating its 23rd year
"online", November 11, 2012, and our 17th year in Branson) for the largest
Veterans Day celebration in the country. The week-long tribute includes over 60
special events which present patriotic salutes to Veterans, and the 78th Annual Veterans
Day parade.
Branson, Missouri is now known as the national
home for all Veterans, active duty military personnel and their families. It is a military
reunion planners mecca for good food, entertainment, and caring individuals dedicated to
our Veterans.
The weeks events salute
our veterans and kick off the Christmas Season for Branson! Enjoy the
sights, sounds and THANKS of a grateful City.

Branson Avenue Of Freedom
http://bransonveterans.com/avenue-of-freedom.htm
On November 14, 2001, the Avenue Of Freedom was designated by the Branson
Board of Alderman in honor of our veterans from past wars, present wars, to
our heroes who gave their lives for freedom; and those who died in the
attacks on September 11, 2001. The "Avenue of Freedom" is along Gretna Road
from Highway 248 west approximately 2 miles to the bridge at Roark Valley
Road.
The "Avenue Of Freedom" is maintained only through donations from
individuals and businesses. If you would like to help maintain the "Avenue
of Freedom" with a tax deductible donation send a check to the address shown
on the BVTF site:

You may honor a loved one who was or is a Veteran, Police Officer,
Firefighter or a first responder with a $50.00 donation for a flag in that
individual's name. |
